It's been awhile

As much as I'd like to quilt - pretty much all the time - life gets in the way.

I was in San Francisco last weekend - what a nice trip. And I was able to get a photo of the very first quilt I ever made! It was from a creativebug class quilt taught by Heather Jones, called "Mod Stripes Quilt Top." I learned so much!
I really love the little bumble bee pattern. I was so new to quilting and fabric and designers that I didn't keep track of anything I used to make this quilt. But it is pretty cute, if I do say so myself.
