Clerestory

When I was at QuiltCon in Austin (February 2019), I wandered into the small A Stitch In Dye booth and was blown away! Such beautiful hand-dyed fabrics, and gorgeous quilt samples. Malka Dubrawsky is the designer, and it was a treat to meet her. I did her Clerestory Quilt with her hand dyed fabrics, and chose the background color just as she had in her sample --- because it was perfect! Empire Yellow cotton by Art Gallery.

This wasn't a hard quilt to piece, but it was great for chain piecing and mindless rearrangement of colors. It's one of my favorites (quilted by Ophelia).

Love the scrappy binding

Used a batik as backing.
These fabrics, front and back, are amazing!

Fabrics: mostly Marka Dubrawsky hand dyes
